Police are asking the public for their assistance in an investigation into a firearm discharge that occurred overnight.
During the early morning hours of September 30, 2022, at approximately 1:26 a.m., police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Rae Street for a report of a gunshot heard. Police arrived to the dispatch area and learned that a 29-year old female had a gunshot wound. The female victim was transported to the hospital where she underwent surgery. At this time, the victim’s injuries appear to be non-life threatening and she is in stable condition.
