A male, who was the subject of a previous CEW deployment release, faces an additional charge of break and enter and commit after investigation into an offense early Sunday morning.
On Sunday, July 17, 2022, at approximately 9:30 a.m., police were dispatched to a business on the 800 block of Albert Street for the report of a recent break and enter. A glass door had been broken and items from inside the business had been taken.
On Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at approximately 3:50 a.m., police were dispatched to Hamilton Street and 12th Avenue in response to a motor vehicle incident involving a cyclist. Information received was that a cyclist had struck a truck that was stopped at a red light, causing injury to the cyclist. EMS arrived and the male was transported to hospital. Police arrived at hospital to discuss the incident when it was discovered the male provided a false identity. The male brandished a knife, and officers deployed a CEW on the male, as described in a previous news release. The male was ultimately identified and charged. Investigation into Sunday’s break and enter led to the identity of this 40 year-old, who now faces an additional charge for breaking and entering and committing theft.
Forty year-old Robin Malcolm BUFFALO, of Regina, is charged with Break and Enter and Commit [CC 348(1)(B)].
The accused makes his first appearance on his charges in Provincial Court today, July 20, 2022, at 9:30 a.m.
