The Regina Police Service, along with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, began a death investigation after the discovery of a deceased person Monday afternoon.
On July 18, 2022, at approximately 3:30 p.m., police were dispatched to outside of a business on the 200 block of 6 Avenue East for the discovery of a deceased person. Both police and coroner attended the scene, and are working to determine the nature of this death.
The deceased, a 40 year-old male, has been identified. Attempts to locate next of kin are underway.
