On May 24, 2022, at 9:05 P.M. police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Elliott Street for a report of a mischief. It was reported a male had thrown a brick through a window. While police were driving to this incident, police received another call regarding a robbery at a business in the 200 block of Victoria Avenue. A male had entered the business with a firearm and stolen items from the business. It was believed the two incidents were related.
Police were able to locate the suspect from both incidents at a separate business in the 200 block of Victoria Avenue. The male was taken into custody without incident. Shortly after the male was taken into custody, he tried to escape, but was quickly apprehended.
Titus GORDON of Regina, is charged with the following offences:
Armed Robbery Using a Firearm as per section 344(1)(a.1) C.C.
Escape Lawful Custody as per section 145(1) C.C.
Possession of a Weapon as per section 88 C.C
Carrying a Concealed Weapon as per section 90 C.C.
Disguise with Intent as per section 351(2) C.C
Mischief Under $5000 as per section 430(4) C.C.
GORDON will be held in custody and will make his first court appearance in court on Wednesday May 25, 2022, at 2:00 P.M.
