The Regina Police Service is asking for help from the public after an incident that took place this morning, Friday, April 8, 2022.
Patrol officers were initially called to the 800 Block of Rae Street around 8:50 a.m. for reports that a house in the area had been shot at and ammunition had come through the wall of the residence. No one was injured. As officers were en route, a second call came in from a different residence on the same block. The caller said that a male at that address was suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
Officers arrived on scene and located the male victim. They provided first aid until EMS arrived and transported the victim to hospital with what were believed to be serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
