A third person has been charged with Second-Degree Murder in connection with a homicide that occurred in Regina in December, 2021. The victim of homicide was 22 year-old Harvey BEATTY of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
Two persons have already been charged with Second-Degree Murder in this case, which began with the discovery of a deceased person on December 16, 2021. On that date, Police were called to Greenberg Park in the 1900 block of Broder Street for a report of a deceased person, who was later identified as Harvey BEATTY. Continued investigation into this case led to the arrest of two people in January, 2022. Major Crimes investigators continued to work on this case and identified a third suspect, a 24 year-old Regina male, who was arrested on February 23, 2022.
Twenty-four year-old Natrone Marian MORAN, of Regina, is charged with Second Degree Murder, contrary to section 235(1) of the Criminal Code. MORAN made his first court appearance in Provincial Court (this morning) at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, February 24, 2022.
