A 40 year-old Regina male is facing charges in connection with two incidents: Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, and Break and Enter.
On Friday, February 18, 2022, at about 4:45 p.m., members of the Stolen Auto unit came across a vehicle in the 1300 block of Garnet Street which matched the description of a vehicle stolen earlier in the month. The vehicle: a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu, was reported stolen on Tuesday, February 15th, when the owner briefly left the vehicle running in Gladmer Park. When police spotted the stolen vehicle, it was stuck in snow and two males were trying to get it moving again. As a Canine team approached the car, the driver left the vehicle in “drive” and tried to flee but then complied with the officer’s directions to stop. Two males were taken into custody without incident. Upon further investigation, one male was released without charges. The other male was charged in connection with the stolen vehicle and, after further investigation, was found to be involved in a Break & Enter case that occurred on February 17, 2022, at a business in the 1600 block of McDonald Street.
Forty year-old Jamie Daniel CRANE, of Regina, is charged with:
