The Regina Police Service has laid charges in connection with a dozen recent Break & Enter cases in Regina. A 25 year-old Regina male is facing a total of 24 charges as a result.
In recent weeks, the Regina Police Service Property Crimes section has opened investigations into several break and enter offences to parking garages. Investigators identified a male believed to be a suspect in these cases, but were unable to locate this individual until the night of February 7, 2022. The 25 year-old was spotted by Property Crimes investigators with the assistance of Patrol, and he was arrested without incident. Further investigation led to charges in connection with numerous offences between January 28th and February 7th.
Twenty-five year-old Zachary Walter Robert HAHN, of Regina, is charged with:
- 12 (twelve) charges of Break, Enter and Commit Theft, s. 348(1)(b) CC;
- 11 (eleven) charges of Breach of Probation, s. 733.1(1) CC; and
- Possession of Stolen Property under $5,000., s. 355(b) CC.
HAHN made his first court appearance on these charges at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.
