On Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at approximately 11:00 p.m., police observed a vehicle reported as stolen. As the vehicle headed westbound on 12th Avenue, a tire deflation device was deployed successfully. The vehicle came to a stop at the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Reynolds Street. Two occupants fled from the vehicle. The driver, a 28 year-old female, was apprehended by police and charged for possession of stolen property, and breach of release conditions. A search revealed a stolen vehicle registration document for another vehicle unrelated to this incident, leading to another possession charge.
Twenty-eight year-old Tayler Joy WILLIAMSON, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 [CC 355(A)];
- Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order [CC 145(5)(A)];
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 [CC 355(B)]; and
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order [CC 733.1(1)].
WILLIAMSON made her first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court today, September 29, 2021, at 9:30 a.m.
