The Regina Police Service is asking the public for information that may assist in identifying suspects involved in a firearm related incident.
On Sunday August 22, 2021, at approximately 8:00 a.m., police were dispatched to the area of Munroe Place., for a report of a weapons offence involving a firearm. Two males were observed causing a disturbance by shouting outside a residence. A short time later, a gunshot was heard and a window in a nearby residence was shot out. The two male suspects then boarded a vehicle and fled southbound on Parker Ave.
Suspect #1 was described as an Indigenous male, wearing a white hoodie, black mask with a tattoo, possibly a star, on the right side of his face.
Suspect #2 was described as wearing all black clothing.
The suspect vehicle was described as a white Chrysler 300.
Fortunately, nobody was injured during this incident. The investigation is ongoing.
