The Regina Police Service is asking for help from the public in its investigation into a robbery that occurred in Regina last night (August 19th).
On Thursday, August 19, 2021, at approximately 11:20 p.m., a number of police units were dispatched to a business in the 2400 block of Dewdney Avenue for a report of a robbery. An employee of the business stated that a male had come into the business, engaged in a short conversation and then produced money, asking the employee to make change. When the employee opened the till, the male produced a weapon (unknown type) and took money from the cash register. The male was described as wearing a hat, facemask, jacket and blue jeans. The male fled with an undisclosed amount of money. The employee was not physically injured in this incident.
