On Friday, August 13, 2021, at approximately 2:10 a.m., police were dispatched to a bar on the 1800 block of Scarth Street for the report of a mischief in progress. Information received indicated that a group of four people were on the roof throwing rocks at the patrons of the bar. They were then observed entering a building through a window.
Police arrived and gained access to the roof via fire escape, where an 18 year-old female, a 17 year-old female, and two 16 year-old males, were arrested and charged.
Eighteen year-old Alysse Reen Michelle MCLEAN, of Regina, and a 17 year-old Regina female, and two 16 year-old Regina males, who cannot be named in keeping with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, are jointly charged with:
- Mischief Under $5,000 [CC 430(4)]; and
- Break and Enter with Intent [CC 348(1)(A)].
MCLEAN made her first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court this morning, August 13, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. The youth are scheduled to appear on these charges in Provincial Youth Court, on October 6, 2021.
