On June 26, 2021, at approximately 0115 hours, members of the Regina Police Service were dispatched to the 400 block of Retallack Street for a report of a weapons offence.
Police arrived in the area and located a male who had received minor injuries. The victim stated he was hit on the head with an expandable baton. The victim provided a description of the suspect male.
Police attended to an address in the 400 block of Retallack Street and located the suspect. He was arrested without incident.
Thirty-six year-old Thiong LUAL, of Brooks Alberta is charged with:
- Assault with a Weapon [CC 267(A)];
- Adult Fail to Comply with Condition of a Release Order [CC 145(5)(A)];
LUAL will make his first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 9:30 a.m.
