On Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at approximately 11:45 p.m., police were dispatched to a report of two females who were fighting in the intersection of 11th Avenue and Toronto Street. Early information suggested a weapon was involved.
When police arrived at the location, officers located two females and a hammer. One of the females was visibly injured and was transported to hospital by EMS. Investigation led police to arrest both females and as a result:
Thirty-two year-old Alana Fay LINKLATER, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Assault With a Weapon [CC 267 (A)];
- Fail To Comply With Condition of a Release Order [CC 145 (5)(A)].
Thirty-one year-old Jenell Dawn COTE, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Assault With a Weapon [CC 267 (A)].
Both LINKLATER and COTE will make their first appearances in Provincial Court on August 5, 2021.
