Another individual has been arrested by the Regina Police Service and charged in connection with a homicide that occurred in the 1300 block of Garnet Street in Regina on June 17, 2021. The victim of homicide has been identified as 52 year-old Robert Henry FUCHS, originally of Carnduff, Saskatchewan. Two adult males and an adult female are already charged in this case.
This investigation began when police were dispatched to hospital, at approximately 12:17 a.m., on Friday, June 18, 2021, for a report of an injured male. The 52 year-old male victim was later pronounced deceased. The death investigation, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, led police to a residence on the 1300 block of Garnet Street. Continued investigation into this death led to the arrest of a fourth suspect on June 22, 2021, just after 3:00 p.m., in the area of 8th Avenue and Athol Street. This individual has now been charged.
Twenty-two year-old Travis GRIMOLDBY, of Regina, is charged with Second-Degree Murder, contrary to section 235(1) of the Criminal Code; and Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition, Contrary to Prohibition, s. 117.01(1). GRIMOLDBY will make his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday (today), June 23, 2021.
