The Regina Police Service is advising motorists to plan routes carefully today to avoid getting stranded on flooded streets. The heavy rainfall overnight and this morning is causing temporary flooding in some areas. As of 9:00 a.m. today (Friday, June 11, 2021), these are some of the problem areas:
2700 BLK GARNET ST – CREEK IS OVER-FLOWING.
HWY 1 BYPASS (RING ROAD) – BETWEEN THE CURVE & ALBERT ST SOUTH
ROSS AVE/WINNIPEG ST – 2 VEHICLES STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD
SHERWOOD DRIVE – SIDNEY ST WEST FLOODED, MANHOLE COVERS ARE OFF & VEHICLES STRANDED

RING RD/ROSS AVE – UNDERPASS STARTING TO FLOOD
LEWVAN/DEWDNEY – SB – STRANDED MOTORIST – FLOODED

BROAD ST/SASK DRIVE – FLOODED
NORTH RAILWAY/ALBERT – FLOODED
ALBERT/SASKATCHEWAN DRIVE UNDERPASS – FLOODED (CITY BARRICADED)
1 AVE N/BROAD ST – WB – FLOODED
4 AVE/BROAD TO ALBERT ST – FLOODED
3800 BLK RAE ST – FLOODED
N VICTORIA SERVICE RD/RING RD- UNDER THE OVERPASS, FLOODED
SASK/HALIFAX – FLOODED
SASK/CAMERON – FLOODED
