The Regina Police Service is asking for information that may assist in a stolen auto investigation.
On Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at approximately 12:50 p.m., police were dispatched to a report of a theft of auto in progress. Early information suggested a running, locked, vehicle was parked in the 1200 block of 2nd Avenue N and when the owner returned to the vehicle and opened the door, two individuals approached the owner and pushed the owner out of the way. The suspects then got into the running vehicle and drove away. The victim sustained minor injuries.
The two suspects are described as:
Suspect #1 – Female, Indigenous, early 20s, slim build, with straight, shoulder length hair. The suspect is said to have been wearing a brown tube top dress.
Suspect #2 – Male, Indigenous, mid to late 30s, slim build, about 6 feet tall with short hair. The suspect is said to have been wearing a light blue tank top and dark coloured shorts.
