The Regina Police Service has served five more SOTIs (Summary Offence Ticket Information) for breaches of the Province’s Public Health orders in connection with the Anti-Mask rally in Regina on April 24th. That brings to 16 to total number of Public Health Order tickets served, associated to April 24th, and alleged breaches of the provision of the Public Health Order limiting outdoor gatherings to ten. And there are more tickets issued that have yet to be served.
Another event on the same day presents an opportunity for the public to help. The Regina Police Service is looking to identify individuals contravening the provision of the Public Health Order that requires people to wear masks in public indoor spaces, such as malls and markets. On April 24, 2021, a large number of people entered the Cornwall Centre Shopping Mall, at 2102-11th Avenue, without masks, and moved about in the mall in apparent breach of the Public Health Orders.
