The “suspicious package call” in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue has ended without incident.
At approximately 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021, police destroyed the package/object that was on the ground behind a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue. There is no threat to public safety. Police are opening up the area to vehicle and pedestrian traffic once again. The Regina Police Service acknowledges that this incident may have caused some anxiety and inconvenience for those in the area; we thank the public for their patience and cooperation.
Investigation will continue to determine exactly what the package contained and how it came to be in that location. Anyone who has information that could assist police is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
