Two males are facing charges following an investigation by the Regina Police Service Stolen Auto Unit.
On April 15, 2021, police were notified of an individual attempting to sell an alleged stolen Ford F-150 at a local car dealership. The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) displayed on the truck did not match the vehicle’s true VIN. Police learned the original VIN on the vehicle was reported to be stolen. Through investigation, police determined the individual who was attempting to sell the truck at the dealership had purchased the truck on Facebook Marketplace. Police located the suspect male who sold the truck online and he was arrested and taken into custody. Further investigation led to the arrest of a second male on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.
