Three males are charged after investigation into the death of 18 year-old Damione DUSTYHORN, of Regina, on the night of Wednesday, April 7, 2021. This is the fifth homicide in Regina in 2021.
Police were dispatched at about 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 7, 2021 to the 1500 block of Cameron Street for a report of an injured male and an altercation. Emergency Medical Services were also dispatched and determined that an adult male at the scene was deceased. Investigation into the death led to a 29 year-old male, who was charged. A 20 year-old male and an 18 year-old male, involved in the altercation, but not connected to the death of the victim, also face charges of assault.
Twenty-nine year-old Cody Stanley Glenn DESNOMIE, of Regina, is charged with:
- Murder, 2nd Degree [CC 235(1)]; and
- Aggravated Assault [CC 268(1)] x 2.
Twenty year-old Tristan Daniel MCNABB, of Regina, is charged with:
- Assault with a Weapon [CC 267(A)].
Eighteen year-old George Moses GORDON, of Regina, is charged with:
- Assault with a Weapon [CC 267(A)]; and
- Use of Imitation Firearm During Commission of Offense [CC 85(2)(A)].
The three accused make their first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court today, Friday, April 9, 2021, at 9:30 a.m.
