On February 16, 2021, at approximately 7:15p.m. police were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, 2445 Albert Street. A vehicle was southbound on Albert Street, it made an eastbound turn into the museum parking lot and continued eastbound driving up the lane to the south facing doors of the museum. The vehicle crashed into the doors causing significant damage to both the museum doors and the vehicle.
Upon arrival police located an adult male inside the museum. The male sustained minor injuries and was transported to the Regina General Hospital to be assessed. It’s anticipated there will be charges, pending the outcome of the investigation.
