In the original call-for-service, police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Park Street on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at approximately 6:51 p.m., for an apparent assault. According to witnesses, five males in a white/grey 2010 Honda Civic, pulled up to a 22 year-old female who was on foot. After a brief verbal exchange, the five suspects got out of the vehicle and began assaulting the female victim. The suspects then fled in the same vehicle, leaving the victim unconscious on the ground. The 22 year old female victim was taken to hospital with injuries consistent with a serious physical assault.
