A Regina male is facing charges after an investigation into drug trafficking.
On December 22, 2020 at approximately 8:05 a.m., members of the Regina Police Service SWAT team executed a search warrant in the 1000 block of Cameron Street; police searched both a residence and a vehicle. In the search, police recovered quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine. Police also seized Canadian currency, drug paraphernalia and multiple imitation firearms. Forty-nine year-old Martin Dennis LABONTE, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained By Crime [CC 355 (B)];
- 3 X Possession of a Scheduled Substance [CDSA 4 (1)];
- 2 X Possession of a Scheduled Substance For The Purpose of Trafficking [CDSA 5 (2)].
LABONTE made his first court appearance on these charges this morning (Wednesday, December 23, 2020) at 9:30 a.m.
