A 37 year-old Regina male is facing numerous charges resulting from investigation into recent Break-and-Enters.
Members of the Regina Police Service Property Crimes Unit conducted an investigation in response to a recent trend in Break and Enters to compounds and storage lockers. Various high-value tools, household items, and vehicle parts were stolen during these occurrences. Several Break-and-Enters occurred at businesses in the following areas: 400 block of Maxwell Crescent, 100 block of Dewdney Avenue, and the 400 block of Henderson Drive.
As a result, enforcement was conducted on November 28, 2020, with the arrest of a 37 year-old male and the execution of search warrants for the following locations:
- A residence on Boyce Street
- A Storage locker in the 400 block of Maxwell Crescent
- A Pontiac Grand Prix car
As a result of the searches, a significant amount of property was recovered from seven different storage locker Break-and-Enters that took place between October 28, 2020 and November 27, 2020.
Thirty-seven year-old Jason Douglas MILLER, of Regina, has been charged with:
- 7 X Break and Enter, Commit Theft,
- Possession of Stolen Property over $5000,
- Possession of Break-in Instruments, and
- Breach of Release Order.
MILLER was released on an undertaking to appear in court on January 11, 2021, at 9:30 a.m.
