An adult male and an adult female are facing Robbery charges after investigation into an incident yesterday (October 14th).
At approximately 4:36 p.m., on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, police were dispatched to a business in the 200 block of Edward Street for a report of a robbery. The owner of the business reported a male and female had come into his store and a verbal exchange ensued. When the owner asked the pair to leave, the male allegedly pulled wires out of the wall, disconnecting electronic equipment. It’s also alleged the female suspect took merchandise without paying. When the owner confronted the female, the suspect male struck him in the head. The situation escalated further when the suspect male continued to assault the victim outside in the parking lot. The two suspects fled on foot and were located and arrested by patrol with the assistance of a canine team. Fortunately, the victim sustained only relatively minor injuries.
Thirty-five year-old Jamie Lee KRAMER and 24 year-old Casandra Jade WILCOX-QUEBEC, of Regina, are jointly charged with Robbery [344(1)(b) CC]. In addition, KRAMER is charged with Mischief Under $5,000 [430(4) CC].
Both KRAMER and WILCOX-QUEBEC made their first court appearances on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. today: Thursday, October 15, 2020.
