A Regina male is facing a charge of break and enter after execution of a search warrant at a residence in the 2400 block of Lindsay Street late last week. This investigation is one of a number of Break, Enter and Theft investigations into recent property thefts from business compounds.
On Thursday, October 1, 2020, a break and enter occurred at a business on the 800 block of Arcola Avenue. Nothing was taken; however surveillance video showed that the male suspect arrived at the scene on an all-terrain vehicle. On Thursday, October 8, 2020, members of the Regina Police Service Property Crimes Unit executed a search warrant on residence in the 2400 block of Lindsay St. where they recovered an ATV allegedly used in the break and enter. Police also located and arrested a male at the same address. The male was bound by a release order that he keep the peace.
As a result, 47 year-old Charles SABEAN, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Break and Enter [348(1)(a) CC]; and
- Breach of Conditions of Release Order [145(5)(a) CC].
SABEAN was released on an undertaking to appear in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2020.
