A 38 year-old Regina male is facing charges after an investigation into an alleged robbery that took place over the weekend.
On Sunday, September 20, at approximately 12:40 p.m., police were dispatched to a report of a robbery outside of a business on the 1300 block of Broadway Ave. The adult male victim reported being approached by a suspect male as he (victim) was leaving the business. The suspect demanded money from the victim and, when the victim refused, the suspect allegedly punched the victim. A brief altercation ensued which ended when a third person intervened. The suspect left the scene. It doesn’t appear there was any prior relationship between the suspect and victim. Upon arrival, police searched the area and located the suspect nearby. He was taken into custody and charged.
Thirty-eight year-old Chase Allan MICKLEBOROUGH, of Regina, has been charged with:
Robbery [CC 344 (1)(B)];
MICKLEBOROUGH made his first court appearance on the charges this morning (Monday, September 21, 2020) at 9:30 a.m.
