On Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at approximately 2:50 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Cameron Street for a report of a male in the area carrying what appeared to be a firearm. Early information suggested the male was waving the weapon around and walking through a school playground. Police attended and quickly located the male walking in the 1100 block of Robinson Street. He was arrested without incident and an imitation firearm (pellet gun) was recovered by police. As a result:
Nineteen year-old Tyrell LONGMAN, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Possession Of A Weapon [CC 88];
- Fail to Comply With Condition Of A Release Order [CC 145 (5)(A)];
- Fail to Comply With Disposition [YCJA 137].
LONGMAN made his first court appearance this morning (Wednesday, September 2, 2020) at 9:30 a.m.
