An adult female was taken to hospital, by EMS, with injuries described as serious after a vehicle/pedestrian collision this morning in Regina.
At approximately 9:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2020, several police units and EMS were dispatched to the area of Quinn Drive and Broad Street for a report of a pedestrian-involved collision. Early information indicates an adult female was crossing Broad Street, at the intersection with Quinn Drive. The pedestrian was crossing from the east side of Broad Street toward the west side. Although the circumstances are still a meter of investigation, it appears a vehicle, travelling northbound on Broad Street struck the pedestrian. Police and EMS went to the scene and the pedestrian was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious. A number of vehicles and witnesses remained at the scene and police closed the roadway to all traffic for the initial stages of this investigation. The road was opened again at approximately 1:30 p.m. The victim remains in hospital. Police are continuing their investigation.
