Patrol officers, and collision and forensic identification investigators, as well as a Coroner, are now at the scene of a motor vehicle collision in the alley behind Elizabeth Crescent. This is a fatal collision involving a vehicle and an adult male pedestrian. The area will be closed for an unknown period of time, while investigators gather any potential evidence and witness information.
This call was received by the Regina Police Service Communications Centre at 1:09 p.m. today (Wednesday, August 12, 2020). Police are working in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service to determine the circumstances of this fatal collision. Police have the vehicle driver’s identity and information as part of the investigation. Police are also in the process of confirming the victim’s identity and notifying his next-of-kin. Please be advised that traffic will be restricted in this area of the city until the investigation is complete and roadway is cleared.
