On August 8, 2020, the Regina Drug Unit (RDU) completed a drug trafficking investigation and enforcement action in the Dominion Heights area of Regina. CDSA search warrants were executed on a vehicle and a residence in the 2400 block of Rothwell Street resulting in fentanyl, crack cocaine, currency and bear spray being seized.
As a result of the investigation, 24 year-old Debra Matthew THOT of Regina, was charged with the following drug trafficking and Criminal Code offences:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl) S.5(2)CDSA;
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine) S.5(2)CDSA;
- Proceeds of crime over $5000 S.355(a) CC;
- Possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace (Bear Spray) S.88CC
THOT was released with a future court date of September 28, 2020.
