The Regina Police Service responded to a report of an assault in the 1700 block of Elphinstone Street at approximately 5:15 pm on Sunday, January, 8, 2012. Preliminary investigation indicates that a planned meeting and altercation occurred at this location. A 14 year-old male was transported to hospital with what appeared to be serious, but non life-threatening injures.
Three male youths and one female youth, all aged 15 were charged in relation to this incident. The four cannot be named in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act. They will appear in youth court today at 9:30 am; the three males are charged with Disguise with Intent [351(2) CC] and Aggravated Assault [268(1) CC] and the female is charged with and Aggravated Assault [268(1) CC].
