The Regina Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in an ongoing investigation into a hit-and-run collision involving a youth cyclist.
At approximately 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2026, police responded to a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a youth riding a bicycle near the intersection of Elgin Road and Grant Road.
Information received indicates the driver of the vehicle stopped briefly following the collision, checked on the youth and moved the bicycle from the roadway before leaving the scene.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or anyone who has relevant video surveillance (in the area of the 2100 block of Grant Road and Elgin Road) to contact them. Anyone with information that could assist in this investigation is asked to call 306-777-6500 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
