The Regina Police Service is asking the public for assistance in an investigation into a hit and run incident which resulted in a vehicle rollover on the weekend.
Police were called to the area of Albert Street and 22nd Avenue shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, for a report of a single vehicle rollover. Upon arrival, they located a vehicle on its side in the front yard of a residence in the 3200 block of Albert Street. The driver was assessed by EMS on scene and released.
Initial investigation determined the driver was struck from the side by a white Honda Civic with a black hood causing the driver to lose control and roll. The suspect driver of the Honda Civic fled the scene.
At this time, the investigation is ongoing. There were many vehicles in the area at the time this incident occurred. Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or moments leading up to it to reach out to them at 306-777-6500.
