A death investigation that began early this morning (April 13, 2026) is now a homicide investigation.
At approximately 1:15 a.m., police were dispatched to a report of an injured male in the 3100 block of 5th Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located the injured adult male. Life-saving measures were attempted by officers until EMS arrived and declared the victim deceased on scene. The area was secured and the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit, the Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service were called in.
Ongoing investigation has determined this death to be a homicide. The victim has been identified as 36 year-old Myles Anderson of Regina.
At this time, the investigation continues. Investigators are asking anyone who may have video surveillance from the area pictured below (3rd Avenue to 6th Avenue and Athol Street to Robinson Street) to contact police.
