A 26 year-old male previously charged in relation to an ongoing homicide investigation is facing new charges.
Shortly before 3:00 a.m. on January 19, 2026, officers attempted a traffic stop near Saskatchewan Drive and Albert Street. The vehicle evaded police but was located a short time later by the RPS Aerial Support Unit in the 1400 block of Princess Street – all occupants had exited the vehicle and fled the scene. Officers on the ground searched the suspect vehicle and located the body of a deceased, adult, male victim inside. Further investigation led officers to a residence in the 3700 block of Dewdney Avenue.
Earlier this week, 26 year-old Kobe Samual FIDDLER was charged with:
- Indignity to a Dead Body [CC 182(B)]; and
- Flight from Peace Officer [CC 3210.17].
FIDDLER is now facing three additional charges including:
- Carrying a Concealed Weapon [CC 90];
- Possession of a Firearm Contrary to a Prohibition Order [CC 117.01(1)]; and
- Accessory After the Fact to Murder [CC 240].
FIDDLER will be back in Regina Provincial Court this morning, Friday, January 23, 2026 to face these new charges.
