A 26 year-old male has been charged in relation to an ongoing homicide investigation.
Shortly before 3:00 a.m. on January 19, 2026, officers attempted a traffic stop near Saskatchewan Drive and Albert Street. The vehicle evaded police but was located a short time later by the RPS Aerial Support Unit in the 1400 block of Princess Street – all occupants had exited the vehicle and fled the scene. Officers on the ground searched the suspect vehicle and located the body of a deceased, adult, male victim inside. Further investigation led officers to a residence in the 3700 block of Dewdney Avenue.
Ongoing investigation has resulted in 26 year-old Kobe Samual FIDDLER being charged with:
- Indignity to a Dead Body [CC 182(B)]; and
- Flight from Peace Officer [CC 3210.17].
FIDDLER made his first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
