The Roughriders are back on home field tomorrow as they take on the BC Lions (November 8, 2025).
Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. and the regular game-day road closures will be in effect around Mosaic Stadium both before and after the game. The Regina Police Service is asking motorists and pedestrians to follow directions, have patience and be courteous to other users of the road.
As part of keeping our community safe on game day, the Regina Police Service is also reminding everyone, whether you’re heading to the game or not, to lock your vehicle and remove or secure valuables. In October alone, there were 92 reports of theft from vehicles, and 48% of those involved unlocked vehicles, many with wallets, laptops, passports, and cell phones inside. In addition, six vehicles have been stolen this fall after being left unlocked and running, including four since October 20. Taking a few extra seconds to lock up can make all the difference in preventing crime.
The Regina Police Service is also reminding everyone to plan ahead for a safe ride and not drive impaired to help keep our community safe on and off the road. All traffic stops conducted by the RPS Traffic Safety Unit include mandatory alcohol screening.
On game day, the following road closures will be in effect three hours prior to kickoff:
Beginning at 2:30 p.m. today, there will be no vehicle traffic allowed on the 1500, 1600, and 1700 blocks of Elphinstone Street. Access will be limited to Regina Transit buses and local residents only (you may be asked to show that you are a local resident, e.g. home address on identification or correspondence). Fans and motorists will find road closures on:
- 1500 block of Elphinstone Street at Dewdney Avenue;
- Princess Street and 9th Avenue;
- Argyle Street and 9th Avenue;
- McTavish Street and 9th Avenue;
- Elphinstone Street and 9th Avenue;
- Montague Street and 9th Avenue;
- Montague Street and 10th Avenue;
- Elphinstone Street and 10th Avenue
- Elphinstone Street and North Railway Street; and

Patrol Officers and members of our Public Safety Unit will be present in and around the stadium ensuring the safety of attendees and those in the area. If you are in need of assistance or have any safety concerns, be sure to connect with an officer on site or call 911 in an emergency.
Stay safe and go Riders!
