The intersection of Saskatchewan Drive and Broad Street has re-opened following an investigation into a collision this morning.
At approximately 10:50 a.m. on October 14, 2025, police responded to a report of a motor vehicle rollover with a person trapped inside near the intersection of Saskatchewan Drive and Broad Street.
Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle lying on its driver’s side, facing east on the south sidewalk in front of the parkade at Saskatchewan Drive and Rose Street. Further investigation revealed that the driver had been involved in a collision with another vehicle at the intersection. Following the collision, the driver accelerated westbound in the eastbound lane of Saskatchewan Drive, subsequently losing control and rolling the vehicle in front of the parkade.
Officers evacuated the driver from the vehicle, and EMS transported the individual to hospital. The driver sustained only minor injuries. The cause of the collision is still under investigation, and charges are pending.
