Charges Laid Following Weapons Offence
On Sunday, September 14, 2025, at approximately 3:55 p.m., Police were called to the 2200 block of Lindsay Street for a report of a weapons offence involving a machete. Information received indicated a male suspect was chasing multiple individuals threatening them with a machete.
Police arrived on scene, located the suspect and placed him under arrest. A machete was located on the ground a short distance away.
As a result of this investigation, 29 year-old Ryan MEANA is charged with:
- Assault with a Weapon [CC267(A)]; and
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order [CC 733.1(1)].
MEANA made his first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court this morning, September 15, 2025 at 9:30 a.m.
