A Regina Police Service Drug Unit (RDU) investigation has resulted in the arrest of a 26-year-old male and the seizure of a significant quantity of illicit drugs and cash. The value of this seizure is believed to be approximately $200,000.
On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, members of the RDU, with the assistance from the RPS Tactical Support Team and Canine Unit, executed two CDSA search warrants ā one at a storage locker and another at a residence in the 4600 block of Mutrie Crescent.
The searches yielded:
- Approximately 7.7 kilograms of methamphetamine;
- Approximately 2.8 kilograms of fentanyl ;
- Approximately 1.3kg of cocaine; and
- Approximately $62,000 in cash.
As a result of this investigation, 26-year-old Cody SYVRET of Fort McMurray, Alberta is charged with:
- Possession of a scheduled substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine) [CDSA Sec 5(2)];
- Possession of a scheduled substance for the purpose of trafficking (methamphetamine) [CDSA Sec 5(2)]
- Possession of a scheduled substance for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl) [CDSA Sec 5(2)]; and
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 [CC 355(A)].
