The Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit is now leading the investigation into the homicide of 35 year-old Aron Lunan of Regina.
On June 10, 2025, RCMP were called to a rural area near Grand Coulee for a report of a deceased individual. Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes launched the initial investigation into the suspicious death which is now being treated as a homicide.
Through continued investigation, Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes and the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit believe the case originated within the city of Regina. As such, the RPS Major Crimes Unit has now taken over the investigation.
Investigators are urging anyone who may have been in contact with Lunan between the afternoon of Monday, June 9, 2025 and the morning of Tuesday, June 10, 2025 to reach out.
