On Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at approximately 8:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Dorothy Street for the report of a robbery in progress. Information received indicated a male had entered a business and threatened staff with what appeared to be a firearm, before fleeing the scene with the cash register.
Officers arrived and were provided a suspect description. Through investigation, officers were able to identify the suspect and arrested him without incident on March 8, 2025.
As a result, 32 year-old Nigel DESCHAMBAULT, of Regina, is charged with:
- Commercial Robbery [CC 344 (1)(B)];
- Disguise with Intent [CC 351 (2)]; and
- Failure to Comply with Probation [CC 733.1 (1)].
The accused made his first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court yesterday morning, March 10, 2025 at 9:30 a.m.
