As the Queen City Ex officially wrapped up for another year on Sunday, the Regina Police Service (RPS) is pleased to report very few incidents required police attention over the five-day event.
RPS had a proactive presence, working in conjunction with REAL District security. Both uniformed and plain-clothes officers attended each day and night where they were able to interact with patrons and answer to any calls for service.
RPS members responded to the following calls for service:
- 39 reports of lost children who were reunited with family / caregivers;
- 11 reports of intoxicated people;
- 2 physical altercations;
- One weapons offence involving bear spray.
The Regina Police Service would like to thank visitors and residents for their cooperation. We also thank REAL District security and our other partners in community safety for working together to make this event enjoyable for everyone.
