On Monday, May 29, 2023, at approximately 10:05 p.m. police were dispatched to an assault in progress on the 1000 block of Cameron Street. Information received was that suspects entered a residence, assaulted the occupant, and stole her belongings.
Investigation led to three females, ages 31, 30, and 15. They were located by Aerial Support Unit in the area of Dewdney Avenue and Robinson Street, and were arrested. A search of the 30 year-old female revealed a knife.
Thirty-one year-old Olivia Violet ISAAC, and 30 year-old Becki Maureen MAXIE, both of Regina, are jointly charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)].
MAXIE is also charged with:
- Possession of a Weapon [CC 88].
A 15 year-old female, who will not be named in keeping with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)]; and
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 [CC 355(B)].
ISAAC and MAXIE make their first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court today, Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. The youth also appears in Provincial Youth Court at the same date and time.
