Two adult males are facing charges after being caught breaking into vehicles near the Pasqua Hospital over the weekend.
Police were called to the area on two separate occasions – the first was shortly before 11:00 p.m. on Saturday evening. The call came to police from hospital security officers, who told police they had witnessed a male suspect breaking a vehicle window. They pursued the suspect on foot and detained him until police arrived.
The second incident took place at approximately 2:30 a.m. this morning, Monday, April 24, 2023. Hospital security officers came upon a male suspect who was inside a vehicle that had the window smashed out. The security officers held on to the suspect until police arrived.
As a result of these two separate incidents two adult males from Regina are facing charges:
Forty-two year-old James TOLVER is charged with:
- Mischief Under $5,000 [CC 430(4)]
Thirty-eight year-old Jeremy POCHA is charged with:
- Mischief Under $5,000 [CC 430(4)]; and
- Possession of Break In Instruments [CC 351(1)].
Both TOLVER AND POCHA will make their first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on these charges on June 6, 2023 at 9:30 a.m.
