The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that may help solve a robbery and a firearms offence possibly related in the south end of Regina.
During the early morning hours of October 23, 2022, at approximately 2:56 a.m., police were dispatched to the 4000 block of Retallack Street for a report of a robbery with a firearm. Police arrived to the dispatch area and learned that a couple sitting in their vehicle were approached by at least two persons, one of whom had a long barreled firearm. The victims exited their vehicle and fled on foot. The suspects got away with a purse and several bank cards. No one was hurt as a result of the incident.
A short time later, at approximately 3:32 a.m., police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Lakeview Avenue for a report of a male with a long barreled firearm. Police arrived to the dispatch area and learned that shortly after 3:00 a.m., two women sitting in their vehicle were approached by a male holding a long barreled firearm. The driver of the car drove off with no further incident and no one was hurt.
