The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that may help to solve a robbery and assault occurred in Regina.
On Friday, October 14, 2022, at approximately 8:15 p.m., police were dispatched to a robbery at the corner of Wascana Street and 5th Avenue. Information received was that a female was stabbed and two suspects fled.
Police arrived and located a female being attended to by a male. The female had injuries consistent with a stabbing. Police learned that two male suspects had called the male over, and when he approached, the males attempted to rob him of his belongings. A female intervened, and one of the suspects stabbed the female. The two suspects then fled.
A canine track and area check by patrol units yielded negative results.
Witnesses provided a description of the fleeing suspects:
- The first suspect was described as 35-30 years of age, thin, approximately 6’1″, wearing a black hoodie with hood up, a backwards hat, black pants, and a blue balaclava style face mask (not a Covid mask).
- The second suspect was described as 25-30 years of age, thin, approximately 5’6″, wearing dark clothing, and had a bicycle.
