The Regina Police Service is advising the public of a planned, short-term road closure to take effect on Sunday, October 2, 2022.
On Sunday, October 2, 2022, starting at 1:00 p.m., a section of Broad Street will be closed to north and south-bound traffic. The affected blocks will be from Broad Street and 4th Avenue, to Broad Street and 1st Avenue. All traffic on Broad Street will be diverted to allow investigators to conduct roadway speed testing in relation to a Dangerous Driving criminal investigation. It’s anticipated the testing will take 3-4 hours. For public safety, Broad Street, from 4th Avenue to 1st Avenue, will be closed to both north and south-bound traffic. The Regina Police Service is asking drivers to abide by the road closures, which will be marked by barricades and pylons.
The Regina Police Service apologizes for any inconvenience; the road closure is temporary. The Regina Police Service thanks the public for their cooperation in this matter.
